How We Do It

We empower school food service programs to be financially and nutritionally accountable by providing technological and operational expertise. We represent a group of food service professionals that have been extremely successful in school nutrition operations throughout Maine. We have experience in regionalizing school food service programs.

Maine School Food Systems & Services has traveled extensively over the past two decades conducting seminars, teaching and providing services for over 35 school departments throughout the state. We have developed "bottom line focused" consulting relationships with many districts, large and small, specializing in "turning around" entire foodservice operations.

Within our core competencies, Maine School Food Systems & Services has also provided consulting services to the Maine Department of Education in workshops and related training activities. For school districts, we can provide onsite assessments and evaluations, training, and monitoring.
